Digital – Parking Spot Shadow
This photograph was taken around 11:30pm on a foggy Saint John evening.
This is a shoot from Musquash. I actually pulled over on the highway to snap this with my iPhone. I really wish I had of had my DSLR with me in the car however my iPhone did the trick .
Iv always needed a tethering option since I shoot a ton of interiors and architecture photographs. From the beginning there has not been an affordable, easy, and light weight option for tethering your DSLR. My workflow for tethering on site has consisted of lugging my heavy 15″ Macbook Pro to the shoot. From there I would require an extension cord, a long reach USB cable, a laptop stand, and fingers crossed I would usually come across an empty power outlet. Then if everything was in order I would hopefully be able to tether and see my images crisp and large. [...]
This is an iPhone image from Tops diner in Saint John, New Brunswick. I shot this while eating breakfast the other morning with my business partner Zack. Top’s has wicked food and also has an amazing “Seinfeld” atmosphere.
If you have been keeping up with our work this past few weeks you will know that I have been involved with this years Saint John Cut event. Yesterday was the official “reveal” of each teams collaboration pictures. Unfortunately I missed out on the reveal as I was out of the country but the rest of my team was there and told me they had a great time.Saint John Cut is an annual event created by Saint John’s Barb Crawford and Dan Culberson involving collaboration between stylists, makeup artists, photographers, clothing vendors, and the community. This years direction in the event went a new direction as the amount of people involved grew exponentially. This years take for Saint John Cut 4 was to pair people into teams. Once in teams it was their goal to produce one picture for each of the three themes given. The themes were Drive, Grit, and Real.
Here is a small teaser video my assistant Branden shot of our Saint John Cut 4 team. This is pretty much how our shoot day went. Enjoy!
